Purpose: This qualification reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to develop expertise across a wider range of business functions. The qualification will equip individuals with significant theoretical business skills and knowledge and help them to consolidate and build pathways to further educational or employment opportunities at a more senior level.

52 Weeks (including 40 scheduled tuition weeks and up to 12 weeks of holidays)

Weekly Contact hours: 20 hours

Education Pathways: Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of higher education qualifications in business or management.
Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.
Entry Requirements:

This course is available to international students who are able to provide evidence that they:

  •  have worked in a supervisory capacity in a business context for a minimum of 12 months or have completed a Diploma level nationally recognised qualification relating to business or leadership and management.

  • have completed year 12 or equivalent
  • are over the age of 18
  • meet the following English proficiency requirements of this course:
    • evidence of a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent OR
    • be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence
      • that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country.
      • that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language.
  • have the required level of Language, Learning and Numeracy skills required by the course by
    • Completing a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment conducted by an ANAE Trainer/Assessor which includes a written test and interview to complete the verbal component of the test. For international students applying from their home country this will be completed during a skype or phone interview.
