Purpose: The Diploma of Leadership and Management is targeted to suit a wide range of careers and industries, giving students business-ready skills that can be applied to any workplace to become leaders and managers in the workplace. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Course Duration: 52 Weeks (including 40 scheduled tuition weeks and up to 12 weeks of holidays)

Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.
Entry Requirements:
  • have completed year 12 or equivalent
  • are over the age of 18
  • demonstrate English proficiency of an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
  • Completing a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment conducted by an ANAE
